At Wakuda Restaurant, a collaboration with 50 Eggs Hospitality Group and the acclaimed two-Michelin-star Chef Tetsuya Wakuda, we've captured the essence of modern Japanese fusion. Our design concept takes inspiration from the dynamic interplay between traditional and contemporary Japanese aesthetics. Imagine the serenity of natural elements and handcrafted details juxtaposed with the vibrant energy of Tokyo's Shinjuku district. This bustling neighborhood, known for its concentration of artists, musicians, and creative minds, is full of small, exclusive bars and restaurants. We've translated this spirit into a layered exploration of textures and materials. Rich walnut, charred wood, and rough stone surfaces create a sense of grounding, while mirrored and metallic elements add a touch of modern luxury. Project completed with Rockwell Group, 2020.
